Drinks at the World's Highest Bar: 100 Century Avenue

Recently I went to the world's highest bar, 100 Century Avenue, in the Shanghai World Financial Centre (or the "Bottle Opener," as it's usually referred to).

We began our second day by having breakfast in bed, then beautiful massages at the Marina Bay Sands (tough life, hey?) After all that exertion, it was time to hit up Oyster Bar for lunch.

Singapore Adventures: Part I

Shanghai Summer to Autumn Weather Makeup

During the height of summer Shanghai is incredibly humid. And I mean walk-out-the-door-instantly-dripping-sweat kinda humid. Now that the weather is finally starting to settle down I can put a bit more effort into my makeup and know it won't just melt right off! I know this is quite a different kind of blog post for me, but I hope you enjoy it nonetheless.

Din Tai Fung and Xintiandi

Recently I had the pleasure of hosting a very handsome friend of mine in Shanghai. We decided to eat at Din Tai Fung, a fantastic Taiwanese restaurant. He had been to Din Tai Fung before in Singapore, however he had never had their soup dumplings. I know, sacrilege! Needless to say a trip to Din Tai Fung in Xintiandi was high on our priority list.

Subconscious Day Spa

Monday was 中秋节,or Mid Autumn Festival. Usually people go home to visit their families and eat special foods, in particular the delicious 月饼 (moon cakes). By Monday my friend and I had already eaten plenty of moon cakes, and we don't have family to visit in China, so we hit up Subconscious Day Spa instead.
